YOU ARE THE LIGHT . . . THAT GIVES LIGHT TO THE WORLD!

As we reflect on this past Easter, we are so grateful for you. Because of your generosity, this season was filled with joy, hope, and new life for the children and families we serve.
We recently visited a family of seven—two parents and their five children—living in a very small two-room home. One room serves as both their kitchen and living space, with a single stove providing heat for the entire family. Life is not easy, and each day brings its own challenges.
The father works tirelessly as the sole provider, while the mother cares for the youngest child at home. Three of the children attend school, one is in kindergarten, and the smallest remains by their mother’s side. Despite these hardships, the parents are committed to raising their children with love and hope for a better future.
What touched us most was their spirit. Their home is filled with laughter. The children run, play, and smile with a joy that shines far beyond their circumstances. It is a powerful reminder that even in hardship, hope is alive.
And this Easter, because of you—that hope grew even brighter.
Together, we were able to provide 250 Easter baskets to children in our care. Each basket was more than a gift—it was a reminder that they are seen, loved, and not forgotten.
Because of your support, we continue to walk alongside families like this —providing food, clothing, medical care, and encouragement month after month. You are helping turn difficult circumstances into stories of hope.
Your gift can make a direct, tangible difference:
• $55. . . provides 1 child with a full month of
food, medicine, and essential items.
• $110. . . supports 2 children with food,
medicine, and essential items for one month.
• $275. . . supports 5 children with food,
medicine, and essential items for one month.
•$550. . . supports 10 childrenwith food,
medicine, and essential items for one month.
This is the message of Easter: new life, renewed hope, and light in the darkness.
“You are the light that gives light to the world. . . And people don’t hide a light under a bowl. They put it on a lampstand so the light shines for all the people in the house.
In the same way, you should be a light for other people. Love so that they see the good things you do and will praise your Father in heaven.” (Matthew 5:14–16 NCV )
Thank you for being a part of providing that light.
With gratitude,
