I want to share with you the story of the T family from Romania— a family in desperate need of our help.

A, a 30-year-old mother, lives with her husband V, 42, and their four young children—S (1), M (2), C (3), and A (5)—in their grandparents’ house. V  works in construction, but without steady employment, their income is limited to what he can earn from day labor and the small child allowances they receive from the government.

Their living conditions are heartbreaking. The entire family, including the children’s maternal grandfather, is crammed into a small, poverty-stricken home. During our recent visit, A was in the hospital with little M, who suffers from respiratory problems, leaving V to care for the other children alone.

The challenges they face are overwhelming, with the children at significant risk of developing emotional disorders, anxiety, depression, and anger issues due to their environment. Poverty in childhood can have devastating, lifelong effects. It limits access to healthcare, disrupts education, and makes it nearly impossible for children to reach their full potential. Without our intervention, the cycle of poverty is likely to continue, trapping these children in the same hardships their parents face.

We are committed to supporting the T family with food, clothing, and other essential supplies, but we can’t do it alone.

The new school year begins this week and your donation this month can help us provide school clothes, shoes, backpacks, and essential school supplies, ensuring that these children can start the school year with confidence and dignity.

We can provide school clothes, shoes, and a winter coat for . . . 150 children in the poorest families at a cost of . . . $95.00 per child.

We can provide a backpack, textbooks, pens, pencils, and notebooks at a cost of . . .$35.00 per child.

We can provide a package of essential items for a child/family containing food, medicine, and hygiene items for $55.00 per month. Right now we have 220 children/families enrolled in our monthly program

Your generosity can make a life-changing difference for these children, helping them break free from the cycle of poverty and build a brighter future.

Please consider making a donation today. Your support is crucial in providing the T family—and families like them with the essentials they need to survive.

Changing lives together,
